This has numerous improvements over ImageViewer, such as;

  • Enhanced Caching
  • More accurate thumbnail resizing
  • More customization
  • Cleaner code base

Some missing features that I are still being worked on are;

  • Lightbox for full view
  • Slideshow

Whilst I encourage you to download and try PhotoViewR, I must warn you that it is still a alpha preview and therefore the stability, security and integrety of it can not be assured. Please check back regulary for updates.
